3-4-16 Sweet conditions on Geneva!

The Moose Dash Snowshoe Race scheduled for 3-20-16 has been canceled as  conditions are not suitable for racing. We look forward to seeing you all next year!!

Due to unseasonably warm weather and low snowpack, we are now closed for the winter season. Thanks to all of you who supported us this season!

Looking forward, trails will be soft as they thaw through the spring- it's best for the health of our trail system to stay off the trails once the snow is gone until they firm up and the frost is gone. For those using the trails this spring-summer-fall, maps are located in the kiosk outside the yurt.

Rental packages can be purchased after 3-12 by contacting us at rlxcski@gmail.com. All rental equipment is now on sale!

See you on the trails!

Always a good idea to get the little ones waxing up early on!

The Rangeley Lakes Trails Center is located in the heart of Maine's scenic western mountain and lake region. This area has an annual snowfall approaching 200 inches. Superb snow conditions plus fantastic terrain and grooming  make Nordic skiing here a wonderful experience for novice to expert. We also have a growing network of scenic single-track trails for snowshoeing.

Our rustic Yurt serves as our lodge. Ski and snowshoe rentals, hot and cold beverages, a variety of snacks, and hot soup are available in the yurt during the winter snow season.

Local lodgings range from fine hotels or bed and breakfast accommodations to motels and private luxury winter homes, condos, and quaint cabins. To find out more about where to stay in the Rangeley Lakes Region check our Links page for some recommendations.

Hey, kids (and kids in all of us)! Look what's appearing at the Trails Center this winter...Gnome Homes are popping up in all kinds of places out on the trails. There are even gnomes "living" inside. You are welcome to explore our new woodland creatures' domiciles as you enjoy our top-rated trails! Tell us about your gnome sitings when you get back to the yurt. HAVE FUN!!
Welcome to the Rangeley Lakes Trails Center, nestled on the side of Saddleback Mountain with 55 km of mapped trails for XC skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and mountain biking.
