10 - 23 - 16: Mother nature is testing the snow guns today, and they're working! A bit of the white stuff is dusting the trails system with (we hope!!!) much more to come......Think Snow!   :)

The temps are turning cooler, and it's a great time to come on up and enjoy the fresh mountain air! All the trails are open free of charge until we fire up the groomers - maps are available at the yurt kiosk :)

The Rangeley Lakes Trails Center is located in the heart of Maine's scenic western mountain and lake region. This area has an annual snowfall approaching 200 inches. Superb snow conditions plus fantastic terrain and grooming  make Nordic skiing here a wonderful experience for novice to expert. We also have a growing network of scenic single-track trails for snowshoeing.

Our rustic Yurt serves as our lodge. Ski and snowshoe rentals, hot and cold beverages, a variety of snacks, and hot soup are available in the yurt during the winter snow season.

Hey, kids (and kids in all of us)! Look what's appearing at the Trails Center this winter...Gnome Homes are popping up in all kinds of places out on the trails. There are even gnomes "living" inside. You are welcome to explore our new woodland creatures' domiciles as you enjoy our top-rated trails! Tell us about your gnome sitings when you get back to the yurt. HAVE FUN!!
